Main targets: Chilean Pigeon, White-throated Hawk, Chilean Hawk, Slender-billed Parakeet, Austral Parakeet, Burrowing Parrot, Magellanic Woodpecker, White-throated Treerunner, Chestnut-throated Huet-Huet, Chucao Tapaculo, Magellanic Tapaculo, Patagonian Tyrant, Patagonian Sierra-Finch and Black-chinned Siskin.

Meet and drive south to Rio Cipreses National Reserve, our main target will be the Burrowing Parrot, but we´ll see many other birds including: Chilean Tinamou, Variable Hawk, Black-chested Buzzard Eagle, Chilean Flicker, Striped Woodpecker, Green-backed Firecrown, Long-tailed Meadowlark, Rufous-tailed Plantcutter, Plain-mantled Tit-Spinetail, Tufted Tit-Tyrant, Fire-eyed Diucon, Thorn-tailed Rayadito, Chilean Mockingbird, Austral Blackbird and Common Diuca-Finch, among others. Then we drive south to Altos de Lircay National Park. Night in Vilches.
Today we´ll visit Altos de Lircay National Park, our main targets will be the endemic Chestnut-throated Huet-Huet, Chucao Tapaculo and Magellanic Woodpecker. In addition we´ll try for other birds like Chilean Hawk, Chilean Pigeon, Austral Parakeet, Magellanic Tapaculo, Patagonian Forest Earthcreeper, White-throated Treerunner and Rufous-tailed Plantcutter, among others. Night in Vilches.
Today we spend the morning looking for the specialties and other birds not yet located. Back to Santiago. End of the trip.
